What is BOOM League?

BOOM League is a cycle of amateur galas and tournaments organised by BOOM Boxing Studio in Kraków. A unique chance to test yourself in competition under an experienced coaching team — whether you are just starting out or preparing for your next bout.

Technical information:

Sparring will be judged and held in 3 classes:

Class C

- recreational athletes, with a maximum of 2 ring bouts,
- beginners with no combat sports experience,
- bouts over 3 x 2 minutes with a 1-minute break between rounds,

Class B

- athletes with ring fight experience, with a minimum of 3 ring bouts,
- athletes without wins at Polish Championship level or higher,
- bouts over 3 x 2 minutes with a 1-minute break between rounds,

Class A

- professional fighters or athletes with wins at Polish Championship level or higher,
- athletes with extensive ring experience and a minimum of 10 bouts,
- bouts over 3 x 3 minutes with a 1-minute break between rounds

Athletes will be divided into weight categories:

- up to 53 kg,
- up to 60 kg,
- up to 67 kg,

- up to 57 kg,
- up to 63.5 kg,
- up to 71 kg,

*A 1 kg tolerance will be allowed at weigh-in.

Weigh-ins will take place at the BOOM Boxing Studio reception during the event.

Equipment:

Athletes are required to provide:

- gloves minimum 12oz,
- hard shin guards,
- headgear,

- mouthguard,
- groin guard — metal only
- elbow guards (in Muay Thai rules)

Fighter's corner dress code is sportswear.

The event will be covered by medical staff.

Each athlete must have valid accident insurance (NNW) and medical clearance for kickboxing/muay thai.

Entry fee 50 PLN payable in cash on the day of the event.
